– Alexander, I frequently reflect on the issues of human thinking, about its phenomenon, about human wisdom and unwisdom.
What controls our behavior and actions? Why does a desire to humiliate a person dominate our consciousness? I know your answer up-front — we are not perfect. And when WILL we become perfect? When will this shameful antagonism, feud between people come to an end? When will «we love our neighbor as ourselves»?
– You keep forgetting that any person is concerned with momentary desires, it is difficult for him to live differently because he is a small particle of the Universal Chaos which will give rise to the Order some time in the future; with this Order, a human being will grow up and become smarter, if he does not destroy himself before that. A human being suffers mainly because of his envy of somebody or something; besides, many scientific studies conclude that people are degrading.
If people are now shut out from the Internet they won’t be able to make the simplest calculations. Some time in the future, when the Internet will become a part of the human population and a system failure may happen on a world-wide scale, people will reveal their ignoble, mean feelings. Because for now, computers are the dearest toys for people. The world is divided into «loyal and infidel», into deaf, blind, indifferent and «clairvoyant».
The images of love, compassion, mutual understanding and mutual assistance have been effaced in this world. Faith and hope are fading. There is no road to stability, but there are steep stairs which we climb to reach the imaginary halo of our desire. Having reached the abstract illusionary peak, only a few will be able to hold onto it.
Others lose their souls and turn into a self-consuming blob of unusual desires, into the magic «shagreen skin»; then there come emptiness, oblivion, disregard, physical and moral dissatisfaction, discontent, borderline suicidal ideations. That’s why the wold is inflamed with hatred and injustice, people are concerned only with their present, just to satisfy their desires, living by the principle «after us the deluge».
